If the number of children in the class is less, it is possible to give attention to the children but if the number of children is large then it's impossible to do so provided the timing of the class being 40 to 45 minutes.

The students will not be able to focus and concentrate if they cannot feel free to see, touch and connect them with their daily life. Teaching, a noble profession is a daunting and challenging task. In the present era, with the advent of new methodologies in teaching and the way digital and smart learning has made inroads into the field of education, the role of teachers has also greatly evolved over a period of time. Today, a teacher is faced with the arduous task of keeping him/herself abreast with the latest inventions and strides in the field of medicine, education, science, art and etc. Upgrading their skills and knowledge from time to time is thus necessary and is an utmost priority today.

Nowadays, teachers are teaching differential teaching strategies to satisfy a slow learner and quick learner. So they will be forced to bring in a lot of creativity and diverse strategies which in turn require additional preparation time.

Technology undoubtedly provides substantial advantages for students, enabling them to access information from around the planet easily and at any time. The advantages and disadvantages of the increased use of technology have come to light over time as students increasingly engage with new innovations. In this review, we will address an issue that has become progressively evident in digital learning environments but is relevant to all educational settings, particularly as class sizes grow. We will explore the difficulties in attempting to understand and account for the struggles students experience while learning a particular emphasis on what happens when students experience difficulties and become confused.
ReplyDeleteNo matter how much experience we have, there are always challenges to face in the classroom and school. Expectations are high—from students, from parents, from department chairs and administrators. Here are some of the things that I find difficult as a teacher.

ReplyDeleteFor children to maintain good health and well-being which is Developmental Goal 1, inadequate supply of water for drinking and washing is an issue in most rural schools.
For children to become effective communicators as required by Developmental Goal 2, language (dialect) barrier is a challenge to overcome by teachers. Generally in Meghalaya and particularly in Khasi Hills, children come from rural areas where local dialect is spoken in the households. Moreover, some of the dialects differ vastly from the standard Khasi language which is taught as the First Language in schools.
For children to become involved learners and connect with their immediate environment as per Developmental Goal 3, limited classroom space is a challenge/issue in most schools, as teaching-learning materials cannot be accommodated along with the usual classroom furniture as they need to be kept in an orderly manner for effective utilisation.
