ReplyDeleteDuring remote learning I have used google meet class for the interaction with my children . It was very effective. Children were very excited to see teachers on the other side of the screen. I used to share the screen , for teaching maths jamboard has been used. Over all online teaching helped the students to learn through Google meet a lot.

ReplyDeleteWith remote learning there are real concerns about loneliness, welfare and lack of interaction. It is important to find a way of keeping everyone in contact. I could do this by running a discussion forum or chat group. If your school has a learning platform or learning management tool you could use this. It does not matter what the platform is – the impact is in how you use it.

ReplyDeleteTo make teaching learning process interactive and help students to understand the content during remote learning we can use videos. For example, videos can be used for exploring a plant and to find out different parts of a plant.
ReplyDeleteWith the help of Google Meet interaction can be made with the students. They can understand better and will be able to ask questions on screen that can be answered by the teacher. Videos can also be made which can be shared on Whatsapp.

ReplyDeleteRemote learning happens online through scheduled Zoom classes and Brightspace activities, due to current social distancing measures, but your classes and program would normally take place in-person, in a classroom setting. Online learning involves classes specifically meant to be just online.

Remote learning is that type of learning where the teachers and students are not present in the traditional classroom but rather use e- learning or online learning. One of the best ICT tool taht can be use during remote learning is the use of smartphone inorder to enhance teaching and learning in distance education or remote learning . Its usage ensures flexible course delivery, makes it possible for learners to access online learning platforms, access course resources and interact digitally.

This Learning Management System (LMS) is part of G Suite, which means teachers can use Google apps to create lessons, quizzes and documents all inside Google Classroom.Google Classroom, as the name suggests, is a virtual classroom that makes learning easy and fun. Teachers can integrate educational apps or websites and create interactive assignments.
ReplyDeleteTeachers can include a slideshow, a small game, or an entertaining YouTube video full of information. This way, kids learn better and enjoy their learning experience.
Also, Google Classroom allows us to go paperless. We can easily create paperless assignments and grade students within a few minutes. This way, you can save time and focus more on improving the learning experience.
Furthermore, we can create a separate drive folder for assignments, grade sheets, attendance sheets, etc. And you can access all this on the go, even from your mobile or laptop.
What’s more, Google Classroom allows virtual meetings. We can host parent-teacher meeting sessions online from our home. It’s beneficial both for us and the parents, especially during the lockdowns.
All in all, Google Classroom offers a complete solution for online teaching.
In the first place I need to collect all the contact nos of parents and guardians .I will conduct my teaching by using video conference apps ,say Google meet or any other such app. For assessment I wii simply use Whatsapp.
